ALL THAT
FALLS
TO THE
PLANE

For my thesis project at MICA, I created this installation. A three-dimensional girl that releases fragments of her inner world, which spread across the ground and flatten into two-dimensional images. This 3D-to-2D installation, made of wood, acrylic, and paper, explores the boundaries and connections between volume and surface. By adding a rotating disc-like plane, the work has more fun to interact with—the audience can rotate the plane by themselves to see the six different illustration shows up one by another.
